Advent Calendars
You will be able to access our advent devotions from the 1st December via our YouTube channel.
Advent comes from the Latin word adventus, meaning “coming”. December 1 marks the beginning of the festive season. Christmas is coming! While lots of good and exciting things are in store in December, we have the opportunity to remember, savour, and celebrate God coming to earth to be with his people in his Son Jesus Christ.
The lead up to Christmas parallels the waiting, anticipating and hoping that the witnesses of Jesus’ birth experienced.
As we prepare for Christmas this year our church family will read the accounts of Jesus’ arrival, ponder some questions, confess our sin, praise God and do some fun things together that help us not to forget how good it is to belong to God’s family.
Advent Calendars can be picked up from one of our Sunday services or the church office during office hours.
